We have tried other items on the menu and have never been disappointed. The staff is great. We were concerned about returning following the sale to new owners but have found the menu and quality have remained the same. We will continue to choose El Fogon de Charlotte as one of our go to restaurants unless we see significant changes to the menu and/or food quality.

We thoroughly enjoyed the mushroom and artichoke appetizers, shrimp and vegetable tempura, and the pork shank, all of which were generous potions and yummy. We will definitely be returning and sampling much more of their menu!

Great huge barbecue pork shank , the best ice tea ever, and delicious carrot cake. Nice music and o k ambiance. Good friendly service. S	Sasch Mayer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, excellent service, noisy location Set next to the main road from Guadalajara into Ajijic, Fogon de Charlotte is is one of those restaurants that [almost] has it all. The restaurant itself is comfortable, and the service is professional and attentive, while the food on offer is frankly excellent, from the Chamorro, to the Tempura Shrimp and the Tuna Carpaccio. Prices, too, are fair given the quality of what's on offer. Unfortunately the whole package is seriously let down by the constant road noise from countless passing trucks and buses. Nevertheless, it's worth checking out if you're in search of a good Mexican meal. And if you sit inside, rather than on the patio, the road noise isn't quite as bad.
