WARNING: Absolute rip off. If I had only exited the customs area. Every cambio outside customs only 40 ft away would have given me the equivalent of 53 more US dollars

Incredibly disappointed with the poor exchange rates. Converting USD to MEX amounted to a %20 fee. In my opinion, there practices are borderline predatory. Use a currency exchange service in the city, or use an ATM.

Complete rip-off. My mom got ~1900 MXN from her credit card and lost 400 MXN on the transaction. She can even see the 400 MXN they stole her on the receipt. Time to close them down!

Go nowhere Globo Cambio at Mexico City airport. We bought $200 dollars worth of pesos at this agent (stupidly) and got a rate of 14.89. Next day, almost anywhere in the city, rates were above 19 pesos to the dollar. We lost between USD 40 - 50 by using these creepy rip-off artists. If you have to have a few pesos for a cab, or something, change the absolute minimum at the airport, and try to find some agent OTHER than Globo Cambio

Never use this exchange service. They offer very bad exchange rates, they try to fool you by offering discounts with large amounts and theft insurance. I checked today and realized they use an exchange rate 16% lower than the regular options outside.

Please never use this agent again ... they said to me the exchange was 19.40, but they have 20% service fee. Its very very bad to customer ! and they said to me all Mexico doing the same, but I already checked, only they charge a highest service fee. I feel very sad and angry of this bank ! never back again !

Just use an ATM to get a better rate without the need to give up your personal information. They wanted a copy of my passport and address. I learned the hard way. I was charged 280 USD and got back 2,500 Pesos. The ATM exchange was 178 USD for 3,000 Pesos. July 2017.

I had heard the exchange places at the airport have decent rates. This official looking one is not one of those, despite saying No Commision (Their exchange rates are 20% less than they should be). After passing out of the secured part of the airport there are tons of exchange booths with very reasonable rates.
