EL GRANERO GRILL & DRINKS - 77500 Cancún

This place was great! Not only was the waitstaff very friendly, but the food was fresh & awesome!!! I ordered guacamole & chips, for an appetizer. It was the best guacamole I’ve had in my life!! I chose lobster alfredo pasta, as my main entree. It did not miss a beat, so very yummy. I ordered a Long Island Tea and it came in a tall glass. Very much worth the price & very much on point. I have no complaints, & I am so glad I came here for dinner. Oh I almost forgot! They let you do karaoke, if you wish. Sammy, one of the waiters will even be your backup singer, if you’d like. Usbaldo was my waiter. He was very pleasant. Next time I’m in Cancun, I’m definitely coming back to this restaurant.

Beware! This place was super expensive with lots of hidden costs. They gave us each a shot when we got there which cost over 500 pesos!!! There was also a large service charge that was apparently not for the waiter so we were still asked to tip on top. That being said, the staff were nice and food was pretty good. But what really stood this place out was that the music was great! And a welcome change from the generic music played everywhere else. If it wasn't for the music, I'd rate this place lower. We had a great time there. Id recommend skipping the shot and coming for a cocktail just to listen to some banging tunes.

Amazing food, good service and nice atmosphere. Good value for what you get.

I had to wait 1 hour for the food to get ready (I ordered a grilled salmon), and went they finally served it, it was only grilled from the outside and still raw from the inside. The tipping comes additionally in the check (around 15%). The waitress was very nice and sweet though.

Food was good but the price is too high for the what we are getting. We ordered turf and surf and they changed to extra shrimp by charging extra. They added the 2 extra beers without telling a word. Experience is not recommeded unless you want to see fire front of your table. They will rip you off crazy.

What a great place! We had the lobster tacos with Chipotle sauce, Espresso Martinis, guacamole and chips. The staff was amazing. We'll be back.

Great service. Even better salsa! We got treated to free chips and salsa by the best waiter, Louis. Nice man. And the atmosphere is so cool outside. Best chorizo I’ve ever had. And first lobster burritos I’ve ever had.

We were absolutely stunned with this place. Going into it, we were unsure but it had good ratings and decided it would be the last out-to-eat destination while on our vacation. Best decision ever! They were very attentive and made sure to check on us the whole time. We had the nachos (with meat on the side (vegetarian over here)), my date had the New York Steak, which he said it was one of the best steaks he had ever had (and he grew up on a beef farm) and I had the veggie burrito which was amazing, not like your typical burrito! They put a little show on when you order the steak as well, not sure if they do that with other things but it was a neat surprise! Definitely a spot to visit when in the area!
