★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very popular place after it appeared on Netflix. You'll likely have to queue but staff will take your name down and call you when ready. Has tasty barbacoa which you order by the kilo. 250g is probably enough for two unless you're very hungry. You order the tortillas separately. Staff were friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great taste of Hidalgo cuisine. I had the breakfast sopes topped with sauce, beans, chicharrón and cheese. Also added a side of fried eggs on tortilla. Everything was delicious. Will be back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passing through Mexico City on a 12 hour layover and some local friends took us here. I really enjoy authentic Mexican food back home, though, I never had barbacoa of this calibre. Our friend did the ordering and we tried belly, rib, and intestine barbacoas. It was probabaly the best Mexican food I ever had. Really enjoyed the experience and flavours. The pulque was really good aswell.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As many people has already mentioned, this place became suddenly famous because of its appearance in Netflix and that's why I ended up here.
However, I was surprised that it is actually the best Barbacoa and pancita I have ever tested, though! And definitely not that expensive as I thought it would be.
The only unfortunate thing is that, for some reason, tips can't be included in the final check and pay them with your credit card (if you are paying with credit card, of course). So you would need to carry some cash if you want to leave some tip to the waitress.
Bottom line, highly recommended place!

It is the most expensive barbacoa I've ever tried and it's not the nicest. It's definitely overpriced and overrated because it's location.
Dear forerigners, don't waste your money here. Real Mexican cuisine and real tacos are not in restaurants like this. Go to the small taco businesses and get real good food for like a fifth of what you pay here.
