★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ate at Huarache Feliz a few times with friends since discovering this eatery this season. Everyone happy with the grub and the ambience of this genuine gem. Extensive menu but solo en Español. Our server spoke great english but it is a hardship to explain each dish to the patrons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best adobada in Bucerias. The huaraches are enormous and the agua fresca is light and refreshing. The free wifi is a nice treat, too. Don’t play around with their salsa rojo — es MUY picante!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The camarones a La Diablo was spicy with a tamarindo sweet sauce, it’s not called camarones diabla for nothing! The enchiladas verde was superb and the green sauce sublime. The dishes were excellent and service was great, this is definitely a more local and non-touristy restaurant in a real local community. This is very authentic and inexpensive Mexican food. The menu is only in Spanish but with lots of pics, it’s not hard to pick a dish. The restaurant is very open and safe!

It's as authentic as it gets, free nightlife as the barrio there lives at the intersection. Family operated, bring your Spanish and lots of smiles. Leave full and ready to return for more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Real Mexican food. We went for dinner, and the place was packed with locals. The food and the salsas were GREAT - easy to see why the locals love it!
Don't for for the ambiance or décor - just go for the great food. We will be back to sample more items on the menu.
This place is outside the normal tourist zone, and none of the staff spoke English - so if that makes you uncomfortable, then maybe this place is not for you.
