★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Al pastor, this chain (but not this location) was the first to offer it in Mexico City apparently. Chicharrones are also extremely tasty but come in hard pieces, not quite crispy and unlike the softer cooked versions at other taco places

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love tacos al pastor, therefore I love El Huequito. A lot of places in Mexico City claim to be tbe originator of tacos al pastor, but I really think that el Huequito has the most legitimate claim. I come here for the tacos, also the sopa Azteca is very good, love the horchata too. There are several el Huequitos in CDMX, the location for this one is quite different, basically underneath a freeway overpass, but once inside, you won't even notice. Yes, you can find cheaper tacos in CDMX, but come on, this is the place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably a bit of a tourist trap, because it's a local chain, but the place is solid and the food is good. They are also open till 3am or later so you gotta love that. I think CALIFA is a better bet, but you can't go wrong with this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pastor especial, Pastor c/tortilla hecha a mano c/queso, arrachera and guacamole were all bomb. Great place to go eat late at night. One of the staff spoke English which was great. Choose your order on the website via qr and show the waiter. Only complaint was the arrachera wasn't charred like the photo, but still good. Probably will coming back every night since it's so convenient and good!
