★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Supposed to be the best Al Pastor tacos in Mexico City but was pretty average.
However the service is great and at $1 a taco you can’t go wrong

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overpriced.
The food is pretty good and the sauce tray they bring is very good
If you don't care about cost, then check it out.
The service is good, too.
We went on a Sunday when everything else was closed or full. There's a 5 star taco stand right next door, but we wanted sit down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious non traditional al pastor tacos. They only come with onions and an orange salsa. If you get the "special" it's a large tower of pastor with a slice of melted cheese on top! OMG! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food (5) + Service: (1) = overall (3)
Food:
My friend and I had the Pastor Especial (a.k.a. the tower of meat) and the tacos de pastor y nopales. Both were excellent, served fresh and hot, and were complemented nicely by the eight different salsas that were brought to the table.
Service:
Throughout the meal, the service was satisfactory, but nothing outstanding.
(Let me make a note that my friend is Mexican, fluent in Spanish, and I am Chicano, with passable Spanish. Throughout our meal, we conversed with the waiter in Spanish but between ourselves in English. I'm stating this because it's pertinent to what happened next.)
After asking for the check, the waiter brought it over, and then asked for a tip. (Odd for Mexico, we thought.) Since we paid in cash, my friend told him (in Spanish) to just bring back our change first. After doing so, we realized that he'd shorted us 50 pesos, which I guess is what he thought he deserved as a tip. While it's not necessarily a large sum of money, just the fact that he first asked for a tip, and when decided to take it upon himself to deduct it from the change, is clearly dishonest. If he hadn't have asked for the tip first, we may have just assumed he'd made a mistake, but this was obviously intentional. Once he brought back the correct change, he then lingered by the table for about ten seconds, as if waiting for us to give him a tip. It was a really bizarre and offputting experience.
Since Mexicans rarely tip, it's obvious that he asked us for one because he'd overheard us speaking in English. Had we not been able to communicate the issue in Spanish, it could have been difficult to resolve. In actuality, we would have probably tipped him 40-50 pesos, but after this, he got nothing, for being dishonest.
So, overall, I really, really liked the food and would recommend checking this place out, especially for the Pastor Especial, but be on alert when the check comes. If the server asks you for tip, it's up to you if you want to give one, but if you pay in cash, definitely count your change afterward, as they may just decide to take it anyway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend this restaurant. It's old, well established, and the food is excellent. Everyone in our party ordered different, and everyone loved what they ordered. I highly recommend the Pastor Especial.
