★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service, maybe the only bad service we've had anywhere in Oaxaca. Took 15 minutes to bring a couple beers, & then forgot to bring change for the bill. Any other spot on the Zocalo is better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Filthy. Just having the menu in your hands will give you an idea of how important being clean is important to this place.
On my last visit there was stains all over the table cloths, and to the look of it, I bet they hadn't been washed in more than 2 weeks.
Not recommend. There's plenty of better options in Oaxaca.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in expecting a tourist trap but was very happy that the service was friendly and helpful, very accommodating of our daughter, and the food was very good if not the best we've had in Oaxaca. Don't sit too close to the street if you don't like vendor's approching you. If you do like a bit of color pick a table right on the street and enjoy the musicians that will inevitably serenade you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to celebrate my birthday here and we arrived with two of us. It took a long time for them to take our order, and even longer to bring it (just two drinks). By then we were joined by about 5 more people, who were never even asked if maybe they wanted something to drink also. After about one hour and just 2 drinks, I figured I'd better celebrate my birthday elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I ordered the Oaxaqueña platter. We enjoyed it. We couldn't finish all of it. I think it was a little expensive. We didn't see any musicians which was a bummer because I've seen them before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So so food, though in a great location. It is definitely a touristic place where they rely on unknowing crowd to simply walk in. Friendly service and Bathrooms are clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's was someone making tortillas just next to us, can't get them more fresh then that! We were here in the early morning so we only had a coffee and bread with jam, plus a guacamole dish with nachos. The quality of the food was good. My espresso was a real espresso and not just a tiny cup of American coffee (which I've gotten served many times here in Mexico) - So that made me happy. The waiters were nice and professional and thus I gave them a nice tip (giving tips is a custom thing to do in Mexico). Overall a good experience - the only thing that was very frustrating were the street sellers that constantly came to our table (in the middle of the restaurant) offering us all kinds of stuff. This happened like 4 times and the restaurant staff didn't care. They just let it happen. The menus were only availble in spanish, so not so english friendly. A rating of 4/5 has been well deserved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a pretty horrible place to be honest. It was empty at dinner time and that's actually why I sat here. I thought it would be quick since it was empty.
My appetizer came after my meal. My second beer took 15 minutes for them to bring out because they kept forgetting.
The food was just horrible too. Hopefully this place goes out of business so a better restaurant can take the prime area over.
