★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La tortas son muy ricas, no sabía qué tenían de especial hasta que mi novia me dijo que sabían "paseadas"; ese sabor que se le hace a una torta casera cuando sales de día de campo.
Caras, esos sí, la porción es muy pequeña por el precio. Más del doble de lo que te darían en cualquier lugar por lo que pagas. ¿Vale la pena? Para quitarse el antojo, sí, para comer y saciarse, no.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cuenta la leyenda que el ixtacamaxtiteco fue la primera taquería de Xalapa y los que la conocieron dicen que es el mismo sabor después de tanto tiempo. Los empleados no tienen la actitud más servicial pero no son groseros. El precio es ligeramente elevado para los estándares de esta ciudad (están acostumbrados a recibir 5 tacos por 15 pesos) pero valen totalmente la pena. Recomiendo los tacos con pierna y chicharrón acompañados de una zarzaparrilla.
Legend has it that ixtacamaxtiteco was the first taqueria in Xalapa and those who knew it say that it is the same flavor after so long. The employees are not the most helpful attitude but they are not rude. The price is slightly high for the standards of this city (they are used to receiving 5 tacos for 15 pesos) but they are totally worth it. I recommend the tacos with leg and pork rinds accompanied by a sarsaparilla.
