This an amazing place if you want to see cool people and every night is crowded, the architecture of the restaurant is incredible, the food is OK as well as the service

Service I great, food quality is quite good. Although the beverages are too pricey... $180 for a carajillo.. too much. Shouldn't be an either drink or eat experience.

What a pitiful excuse of a restaurant that has the audacity to charge $$$. A close to 1000 peso mistake. Gave them two chances tonight and ordered from both Uber eats the first time and directly from the restaurant itself. Both deliveries showed up with the soup dripping out of its container. (The woman who I ordered from apologized for my troubles with the apps and assured me that they always pack their food with great care. Based off of results of the delivery, that was a lie.) Ordered the sopa de rib eye as well as the Kake udon for delivery and both dishes arrived spilt into the plastic bag. The worst part is that that udon is delivered sitting in the soup cooking and soaking up the soup while it is being delivered so what you get are extra soggy and sad udon by the time it arrives. Delivering noodle dishes separate from the soup is restaurant 101. They have no pride in their food, not how it is presented nor how it tastes to the customer.

Everything in their menu is really good. There is a lot of variety too. Staff is friendly and service is super fast. The terrace is great, so cozy, and with a great view surrounded by nature. Their fresh drinks are delicious, loved the lemon cucumber water. Beef is great, a lot of quality. Overall an awesome place for Japanese food.

We visited El Japonez today to celebrate two birthdays. The service was great and overall the food was amazing. Here, you can go safe to orden classic sushi rolls that you might have tried in other places, but my recommendation is to date to try some of the signature dishes that are really worth of trying. With this in mind, my recommendation is to order the rib eye rolls... Simply amazing. Also there is a signature roll that is lighted up at your table called El Patron: An spicy tuna roll with species with a mixed sauce made is Siracha, Mayonnaise and the house sauce. The Volcanes week also increíble: three small tostadas to taste different seasoned flavours: Shrimp, rib eye and tuna. Cocktails are very good also. We had some grilled pineapple cocktail with lemon and mezcal and other with berries. Both were great and fresh. Of course, I ordered Mezcal and it is very well presented with grilled fruits and vegetables. I recommend the Pierde Almas Tobala mezcal here. It is difficult to find somewhere else and it good to remind you that although you are at a Japanese restaurant, you are still enjoying Mexico.

Very artistic restaurant. The food was good but have tasted better. Vegetarian rolls were very simple.

The food was decent and the ambiance was nice. We started with the chef's choice, which was the ceviche. I highly recommend it. Our main dishes were the Spicy Tuna Special and the Suzuki. I also appreciated that they offered free cokes for making reservations. Additionally, we were also pleased with the service. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Only downside was that the music was too loud for my liking. We could've done without it.
