★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sin vuelos comerciales, sin pista para aviones grandes, sin estacionamiento público o privado, servicio solo para gobierno del estado y particulares, no cuenta con servicio de taxi, tiene aterrizaje y despegue de helicópteros, de gobierno y privado. Salas de espera abandonadas, estación de bomberos precaria y carente de lo elemental. No hay nada turístico alrededor, lo más cercano sería la hacienda del Lencero
No commercial flights, no track for large planes, no public or private parking, service only for state government and individuals, does not have taxi service, has landing and takeoff of helicopters, government and private. Waiting rooms abandoned, fire station precarious and lacking the elemental. There is nothing tourist around, the closest would be the Hacienda del Lencero

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Urgen vuelos comerciales de nuevo a este aeropuerto. Para llegar por vía aérea, es muy tedioso recorrer varias horas en autobus desde el Aeropuerto Internacional de Veracruz. Esperemos que Aeromexico o Volaris pronto lleguen a sus pistas.
Commercial flights are urgent again to this airport. To arrive by air, it is very tedious to travel several hours by bus from the Veracruz International Airport. Hopefully Aeromexico or Volaris will soon hit their tracks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very small airport. Flights can be routinely delayed or canceled to and from Mexico City due to weather. Flights are very expensive as well for such a short flight. If your flight is cancelled, they will re-route you to Veracruz, and you will be responsible for your transportation from VER to Xalapa (about a 1:50 hour bus trip). Might as well fly to Veracruz at a lower price then buy a bus ticket to Xalapa. The airport is in need of major renovations.
