La vista desde la cima del cerrito es muy bella y sirve para ir a dar una pequeña caminata con los hijos y las mascotas, ahora que se esta urbanizando más y más la zona pues hay que aprovechar antes de que cambie todo, buen lugar para dar un paseo, recomendado.

Cuenta la leyenda que en los alrededores de este sitio abundaban los coyotes quienes por su astucia hacian daño a los ganados pero no se dejaban ver. Los pobladores al poder observar por la noche a estos animales y no reconocerlos, creyeron que se trataba de leones que merodeaban por sus propiedades. Actualmente desde la cima de este cerro se tiene una linda vista de la ciudad de Chihuahua.
