A toda la gente que me visita en San Miguel, la llevo a conocer este hermoso lugar. Parada obligada en Atotonilco!!! Puedes hospedarte aquí, las habitaciones son amplias, hermosas, limpias, en un lugar silencioso donde impera el sonido de las aves, el viento moviendo los árboles, hay una calma absoluta. Tiene alberca, el restaurante buenísimo y además la decoración extraordinaria. Amo sus Catrinas por todos lados, lo colorido del lugar, los campos de lavanda, no puedes NO visitarlo! Por si no bastara, este hermoso lugar es pet friendly! No olvides recoger las heces de tu mascota! I love El Macehual. It seems to me that it is little known, it would be great if they did more publicity for it, it is an extraordinary place that everyone should visit. To all the people who visit me in San Miguel, I take them to see this beautiful place. A must stop in Atotonilco!!! You can stay here, the rooms are spacious, beautiful, clean, in a quiet place where the sound of birds prevails, the wind moving the trees, there is absolute calm. It has a swimming pool, a very good restaurant and also an extraordinary decoration. I love its Catrinas everywhere, how colorful the place is, the lavender fields, you can't NOT visit it! As if that wasn't enough, this beautiful place is pet friendly! Don't forget to pick up your pet's feces!

Debería de haber un transporte desde Atotonilco para que puedan acceder más turistas. La comida deliciosa y las bebidas exquisitas, sobre todo la margarita de lavanda. Están hermosos los cultivos de lavanda. Reserven con tiempo sus habitaciones. Ideal para un fin de semana en familia o romántico. A super quiet, clean, cozy place, highly recommended to disconnect from the city... it needs better roads to get to the place, both to get there by van and on foot. There should be a transport from Atotonilco so that more tourists can access. Delicious food and exquisite drinks, especially the lavender margarita. Lavender crops are beautiful. Reserve your rooms early. Ideal for a family or romantic weekend.

Pero es increíblemente difícil realizar una reservación o que contesten el teléfono. Muy limpio. Puedes dormir cómodamente sin lujos pero sin quejas. Lo único que tal vez haría falta es aire acondicionado y/o calefacción pues en las noches si hace mucho frío. I have been to this hotel several times and I like it. The treatment is good and the staff always seem to be willing to help. But it is incredibly difficult to make a reservation or have the phone answered. Very clean. You can sleep comfortably without frills but without complaints. The only thing that might be necessary is air conditioning and / or heating, because at night it is very cold.

I was there about 3 weeks ago and the lavender was just starting to bloom. Yesterday, we were thrilled to see it in bull bloom! Upon our arrival, we were greeted warmly by Laura who is the Owner of the property. She gave us a most informative and engaging ‘tour’, showing us one of the guest houses and all the facilities including 2 pools. The view of the surrounding countryside and mountains is amazing! We enjoyed a delicious lunch that featured authentic Mexican dishes including a final treat of Cactus Ice Cream. We will definitely be returning next year; thank you Laura for your heartfelt welcome and most enjoyable experience!

The decoration is simple but colorful and attractive The beds are super comfortable and the facilities are very well cared. The attention is excellent and the surroundings are peaceful. Also it has its own little restaurant and the food is tasty..

And, some of the best Mexican food and service I have had in SMA. I mean it. Very pro all around. Worth the trip. Just do it, get out of town.
