★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gelato here is perfectly balanced and is not just comparable to Italian gelato, but better than a lot of top, Italian gelato establishments that I have visited around Italy! So fair play to El Mango Blanco. Highly recommended!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gelato is delicious. A stand facing the street. Why I give 3 stars: I stayed in Holbox for 3 days and tried several ice cream places. There is another ice cream place called "Por Que No" which also has delicious gelato (I wouldn't be able to tell which one was better, both were excellent), is slightly less expensive (50 MXN for two balls vs. 60 MXN) and the portions are definitely bigger. I don't mind the 10 MXN difference, but I definitely mind if you charge me 10 more pesos and on top of that the ice cream is half the size as the other shop.
