★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EL MESON DE DON TADEO IS THE BEST I TELL YOU. BEAUTIFUL NATURAL JUNGLE SCENE. THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. MADE ME WANT TO LICK THE PLATE CLEAN.... BUT I DIDN'T! WE ORDERED THE 895 PESOS MARISCADA FOR MY HUSBAND AND 2 CHILDREN AND WE LOVED EVERYTHING ON THE DISH! 0 REGRETS! ICE COLD BEER. FRESH SEA FOOD AND VERY VERY TASTY! I WILL BE DREAMING ABOUT THIS PLACE UNTIL I COME BACK. WHAT A GREAT UNFORGETABLE EXPERIENCE WE LIVED HERE. WAITERS TREAT YOU LIKE FAMILY. THIS PLACE AND THE FOOD GO ABOVE AND BEYOND YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never had my mind blown by a seafood platter before...but I am still picking up the pieces from this place. For $45 (USD) you get more food than you can comprehend and it is all amazing. Chips, salsa, garlic bread, and homemade tortillas (we watched her flatten and heat them from our table) with every meal, if you somehow can finish the platter, you still have an uphill climb with the accessories. Amazing, friendly service and a beautiful and quaint location, right along a stream in a small village alcove, this place did not disappoint in the slightest. I was only disappointed in myself not being able to finish the platter, as a waddled away, stuffed to the gills. I recommend this place whole heartedly.

The rest? Well......
We are talking about a hut in the middle of the jungle in Mexico. The prices are representing none of that. The food is delicious thats true. But nothing what would suggest these prices. Neither the service.
Puerto Vallarta is made to rip off turists from the usa- thats clear. But that I payed 500 pesos for a shrimp cocktail and a plate which included 7 shrimps a small pile of rice and a handful or lettuce as salad and 2 lemonades...?
Be reasonable please- this is not an Atrium Hyatt! I understand that need to make profit, but this is eather ridiculous!
Oh btw: most of the food was super spicy, including the salsa, the dips, totopo, and the cocktail.... disappointment... sorry....
