Have been some expensive restaurants in hotel zone, food is good, but all American style Mexico food. This place is real Mexico food, seafood lovers must stop by, highly recommended.

The service was great, best piña colada we’ve had, maybe ever. We also got a mezcal cocktail. These were actually the best cocktails we had at a restaurant during our trip to Cancun. Chips and salsa, oyster shots, ceviche, and catch of the day red snapper served with fries and veggies, this was a perfect seafood dinner. Located on the second floor next to the down escalator in the Forum, a little hard to find but such a gem! Wish we ate there again, but we wanted to try as many restaurants as possible. Will remember this meal forever!

Food here is good, but a bit over-priced. It's located near Congo Bongo. In what appears to be a shopping center. It's an older establishment that serves mexican food, alcoholic beverages, and much more. So, my spouse and I went here for our first meal since arriving here in Cancun. A nice older gentleman served us. We ordered fish with vegetables $310 pesos, steak & lobster with vegetables and potatoes $909 pesos and a lemonade and mint margarita $77 pesos. We paid approximately $66 USD. A beautiful young lady was seated to the right of us at a counter, but then out of no where she approaches us with a camara offering to take our photo. Our server was nice and very hospitable, but pushy. His service was good, but he failed to bring steak sauce with my meal. I had thought maybe they didn't serve it, and that I had to use the juices already on my plate. It came later but after I had to ask for it. Also, when it came time to pay the bill, without consent, he added a tip amount that he wanted. In addition, he stood over us as we counted our money assuming as if we didn't know how; where I had to shoosh him away. Initially, he assumed we were paying by credit card so he brought a credit card machine. Almost wanting to push us to pay by credit card, because he sat down at our table while presenting the card machine to us, while at the same time asking if we were paying by cash. Hmmm! What was that about? It could have been nothing, but made us feel like he was trying to get over on us. All in all, I can't say I was overwhelmed by my first meal in Cancun. It was good but it did'nt wow me! Not wanting my review to sound negative, but just honest based on our experience. So to say that, I hope for others to visit and try for themselves. Will we frequent or return? I say, probably not!

Was looking for oysters around Cancun, this seemed to have good reviews. It was a little difficult to find, but there was a server waving a menu out front, which should have been an indication of the first red flag. Oysters weren’t anything special, and a little pricey. Food was okay, nothing spectacular so when the bill came we were expecting an average price for a mediocre meal. When we received our bill it was outrageous; literally $160 USD. They sneakily put their own tip in, and in this case, he was trying to tip himself almost $40 USD. When we asked him about it, he initially said that was the correct amount, but then retracted his words and said “well, no, that tip isn’t required.” Super shady and deceptive. Save your money. This place is way overpriced.

Wonderful restaurant! We brought in fresh fish that we caught and they cooked it up for us. We had it cooked a few ways and it was all delicious. They had great hospitality and always made sure we had a fresh drink in hand.

Be careful not to miss this hidden jewel in the corner of a shopping mall. You wouldn't necessarily look for authentic Mexican food in this Tourist location however this place hit the spot! It's just a walk away from many hotels and resorts but worth getting off property for! the service was fantastic and the food was so well seasoned it maid my heart flutter!
