★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I very much enjoyed the drinks and the wonderful service team. The food however was disappointing and expensive. The specifics are numerous, and in short, the quality of food for the price will not impress you, when compared to the numerous other restaurants within 3 or 4 blocks of El Olivio. On a positive, the artesian beer selection is solid!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had drinks and tapas only as the kitchen closes at 10:30. It was just alright. Sat on the terrace overlooking the quiet streets of the centro, just down the street from Santo Domingo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Late dinner on a Saturday night. Had an amazing dinner in a great atmosphere. Great service and English speaking. Food was fantastic and the salad was fresh and crispy. Fresh bread and a great herbal butter. A place you like to go back to with friends and enjoy a lovely evening out. Very reasonable prices and a sound level where you can carry a conversation without difficulty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service, nice ambiance, excellent cocktails, and the pork brains in blackened butter might be the beat thing I've ever eaten.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious, amazing food! Very friendly, patient staff to the dumb foreigners. We appreciated that! We ordered draft beer, a beautiful Lyonnaise salad, charcuterie board, and the phenomenal Cameron Aioli. Everything was amazing, but I highly recommend the shrimp tapas!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good spot for tapas. The night I went, there was a lot of stuff on the menu that wasn't available. Most of the food was great (definitely get the fig provolone and Portobello mushroom tapas). We got two flatbreads, one was great (vegan) but the other didn't seem toasted at all and the bread was really spongey. The creme brulee was also really mediocre. Wouldn't recommend. The other desserts are good though. Make sure to bring mosquito spray if you're sitting on the terrace!
