Durante mucho tiempo fué un lugar muy importante en la extracción de oro y vale mucho la pena su visita. Puedes encontrar diferentes lugares para l compra de artesanía local y disfrutar de su mercado o tianguis los días Lunes.
Un lugar peculiar es un café montado dentro de un vagón de tren que se encuentra aquí. Sólo te recomiendo no ir en Domingo pues probablemente te tocara hacer fila.
Visita su Teatro un lugar sin igual y cargado de historia que te hará viajar durante unos minutos al pasado. Además a unos 15 minutos en auto te recomiendo visitar la presa Hockman y si lo deseas rentar una cabaña para pasar la noche ahí o acampar.
