this place is the perfect combination of comfort, cool style, beautiful space, and tranquilo y amable hospility. my every need was more than met, but i really didn't need much. the staff is amazing. they will provide you with inside information about the neighborhood and the city, if you so desire that. if you cut your finger by accident at a dance party, they will bandage it for you when you get back "home." (trust me, i know!) what a lovely place. so clean, but warm, comfortable, and unpretentious at the same time. the art all over is super cool and in the best taste. the design is top notch. i would recommend this place to EVERYONE. definitely really romantic for couples, but i was traveling solo and it was exactly right for me as well. THANK YOU 77 STAFF!!! oh wait... the neighborhood! SO chill and real and just close enough to everything, yet just enough out of range of chaos to be super peaceful. perfecto! oh wait... they care so much about the environment and our world -- how beautiful, everyone should!

The staff there made my stay so enjoyable for my first time to Mexico City. They even purchased my Frida Kahlo museum tickets ahead of time before I arrived. The inside is a photographers dream. This classical building has a rich history and you’ll find a book about it in your room. The kitchen is adorable - and scrumptious breakfast menus are switched out every day.

I had a nice stay here. I liked the neighbourhood and its position in the city - easy access to everything by either Uber, Taxi or Metro. Good breakfast everyday and they offer great espresso. High level of cleanliness throughout the property. Felt like home.

I loved, loved my stay here! An absolutely beautiful bed & breakfast! It was so nice to come back after a long day exploring bc it’s so relaxing, quiet, and peaceful — really energizes you for the next day! The breakfast is made to order every morning 8-10am. The staff, especially Alex and Andrea, are so welcoming and amazing — they have great recs as well! The rooms don’t have AC but there’s a nice room fan that is more than sufficient. Would absolutely stay here again!! Thank you El Patio!!

It's a very beautiful space. I really enjoy the little touches that they've added, the decorations are wonderful. They also have rooms that have touches from the state that they represent. The internet can be improved, but, if you're on vacation, get out and enjoy cdmx, no need to be on your phone 24/7. The breakfast was wonderful as well. You definitely get more than you pay for here.

It is a pretty place and I was excited to stay here after hearing so many great things. However, when we arrived for our 5-night stay (that I reserved and paid 50% for a year in advance) they had no record of my reservation. After I showed all the email confirmations from their staff and a bank statement confirming the payment, they still asked us to leave so they could accommodate a different group who was checking in the next day (who reserved after us). Very disappointing, we go to CDMX frequently and I could have been a repeat customer. They did allow us to stay one night, but we had to move into an Airbnb the next day. We got a refund for the days we didn’t stay and they were very apologetic, but it was a stressful experience so I will not make an effort to return and won’t recommend it to others.

An absolute gem in the heart of Mexico City. Elvia was a great host to my partner and made us feel right at home. The hotel is a genuine oasis in the middle of the city and once you are inside the noise and busyness of the city turns off and you can completely relax. Super strong wifi as well which made it a great place to catch up on work in the beautiful courtyard.

We absolutely loved our stay at El Patio 77 and we could not recommend it enough. The wonderful host manager Elvia (and her gorgeous dog Juanito!) made us feel so at home from the second we arrived.. We didn't want to leave! We had the best nights sleep we've had in months on the memory foam bed, the breakfast was INCREDIBLE (2 courses too!!!), really strong wifi, central location in the wonderful neighbourhood of San Rafael, and everything was absolutely spotless! It was so interesting chatting to Elvia about the history of the B&B and how they really go above and beyond to be good for the environment too - through solar panels, collected and recycled rain water, and locally sourced food and furniture. Highly recommend a stay here when in CDMX!
