The food was very delicious and super flavorful, the service from all the staff was nothing but great and really left us speechless.

They mislead me with a “promotion” that they ultimately didn’t honor and we ended up paying much more than we thought we would. When we brought this to their attention they basically just said, “There’s nothing we can do” and forced us to pay the full price.

I ordered a Tequila Sunrise and my wife a pinnacolada. My drink had sunrise but little or no tequila. The Pinnacolada was not bad. The bacon wrapped shrimp was over fried to remove any flavor. We requested 2 waiters for 2 glasses of water but only the third waiter executed the order. That was the gift we got for climbing the steep stair case.

We chose to eat at El Patron on a whim and so glad we did!!!! The staff was absolutely accommodating and kind. Our servers Francisco and Ricardo were awesome!!!! They really went above and beyond for our little family. The drinks were great, we started with a Mexico hello I think is what they called it. Francisco was very knowledgeable and helped us navigate the menu. They were all very energetic and made us feel at home. The view was incredible!!!! I had the lobster and it was delicious. I did miss having lemons with it but that is ok. I am allergic to tomatoes and they made me my very own guacamole with no questions asked. The prices were just right for what we got. On the nicer side but that is what we were looking for. So happy to find this gem.

The food — in my case steak and shrimp — tasted like they fermented convenience store Hot Dogs in a bucket of ocean-water brine before mixing it with some god forsaken substance formed into the shape of shrimp. I’ve never made a review in my life but in the hopes that this deters at least one person I’ll know I did good. I have eaten questionable things in my life but this is without a doubt the worst meal I have ever had. Trust the other reviews written around the time as this one. You’d be better fed by eating handfuls of sand and dirt off the beach than eating whatever this place passes for food. Run, don’t walk.
