Tables could be cleaner. Waiters don't speak much English.
As there are a couple of restaurants in the same area, each playing their own music, it was a bit noisy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local Mexican joint just near the downtown. The food is good so is the service . Please don’t expect it to be similar to restaurants in the hotel zone as it’s very local but authentic . If you want to try something different and explore the local food then it’s a good place to go. It’s location is good as it is not much in the interior side of Cancun and pretty close to the main activity area. The only disappointment was the super loud music. It was disturbing and we wanted to leave the place real quick . Hence I give it one less star

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food. The best Al Pastor tacos I've ever had. Their Chorizo tacos were also amazing....BUT...check your bill. We were overcharged 100 pesos on our lunch. It's a shame because our service and treatment was excellent the first 2 times we went. I chalk it up to one dishonest waiter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not good for nationals.. Maybe good for gringos.. but food is dry, we ordered parrillada and it was cold when it got to our table cause the serve it on a big plate.. flavorless salsas, not spicy. Michelitro had a weird flavor..
Chorizo torta super salty, only good thing was their aguas frescas. A bit pricey compared to local vendors around palapas..
