★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This would be my last meal if given the choice. Amazing hole in the wall. Enjoy your tacos with a little chicharra, test the salsas based on your heat tolerance and enjoy some live music while you eat.
The street performer has been there for ever and has a great repertoire in Spanish and English. Tip him for great renditions of Beatles songs or what ever popular song floats your boat.
Go early though. By noon you are risking it being all gone despite the giant pots.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth the 15 minute walk this morning from my hostel. Portions are huge. Everyone is so friendly. The salsa verde was a bit spicy for me. The crispy fatty bits are sooo tasty. Not the be missed if you’re in cancun!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Google says they open at 7 Sunday but they were not open yet and said 8 is when they open. 8:10 works finally showed upt to start getting ready. Then after long anticipated wait. They told us that they will not be able to open until 9. I wasted 60 dollars for a taxi to come and wait. Then we went back with no tacos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best carnitas I've had so far. Got taken here by cancun food tours and they told me you can get maciza (lean meat only) or surtido (a mix of everything). I got surtido which was way more flavorful than my girlfriend's maciza so highly recommend getting that over the maciza. Salsas were also great - they have a verde habanero which was spicy but not too crazy and a mild pico de gallo. Got it with a glass bottle coke and it was heaven. Will definitely try to make it back here if I can.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Real gem for some mouth watering pork tacos. Place is not fancy, but the tacos are the best. While I was there a local street food guide showed up with his 10 clients.
Dont miss it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem! I’m so tired of paying USA prices in Mexico, finally a place that makes sense. Great meat tacos for 20 pesos each. One will fill you out pretty good. Keep going downstairs, plenty of other great eateries. A guy sells 1 liter fresh orange juice for only 40 pesos. Another guy will make you sandwiches and breakfast, Lovely place. Plus there’s a guy who sings pretty well.
