With each drink we ordered there was a little plate of one of their dishes (very much like the way tapas started out), so we only needed to share one meal. We ended up with a ceviche feast. The small dishes were octopus and fish (Mero, a type of grouper), and the main was carocal (conch) and it was amazing. The staff and owner are very friendly, and the atmosphere is laid back in a Yucatan way, so more laid back than you may be used to, which just means you need to relax more. Update: We tried to go back here another day, but the smell of fish was overwhelming to the point that we had to leave. Please take my initial review with a grain of salt.
J	Jeremy Cain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had fried octopus ceviche, my wife had grilled lobster, both were very hard to chew. The flavours were ok but were cooked too long. For the price it should have been better.
A	Anthony Taylor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I tried this spot while on a cruise. You take the community van to get to Chelem for about 25 pesos each or $1.50. They have an okay Beach for swimming nearby the restaurant with lots of nice shells in the sand. Everybody that we spoke to (using translator) was extremely friendly and glad to lend a hand to someone that isn't very familiar with how it all works. This area does not accept us dollars fyi but I was able to exchange at a gas station chain (and grabbed some yummy local candy). Our entire meal was less than $20. This was literally the best fish I've ever eaten. Such flavor, I can't wait to have it again someday.
