A place you wouldn't believe, kind of a speakeasy restaurant, you'll have to knock on the door. Don't let the surroundings scare you off, green pozole is worth the experience, one of the truest and most traditional mexican meals you could ever taste.

Fantastic pozole prepared in the traditional Guerrero State style. The place is completely hidden from the public eye, as it has no signage. The area is quite shady but if you take an uber and follow the address you will see how people are welcomed by the valet personnel and greeted in. It looks like a house but wait to be surprised by the occupancy indoors. Costumer service is extremely friendly. My favorite dish was the pozole verde.

You don’t need to get pozole anywhere else. Delicious. And when the lady walks around and asks if you want her to put mezcal in there, you say YES. You can’t see the restaurant from the outside, door says 12 on it. Ring the bell that says “pozole.” Service impeccable. I was alone and the lady seating people kept checking in on me. The best place.

The best pozole in CDMX so far. I had green pozole, which is made with pumpkin seeds. They serve green or white pozole. You can add on a raw egg, avocado, chicaron, and sardines. The portions are large. They added a few spoons of mezcal into the soup to bring out the flavor! The restaurant is open 2 pm to 7 pm. You need to press a buzzer to get into the building. They do accept credit cards.

If you don't know where it is, you won't find it. Tucked away on a corner with no signs. The pozole was wonderful. Two sized bowls to choose from, medium and large. But it's really large and gigantic. Full of meat and wonderful stuff. Very filling.

This place is a hidden gem. It doesn't have any banners outside so you can't really tell there is a restaurant until you get close. Now the food. The way they serve pozole is so cool. They bring the base soup and ingredients on the table (including raw egg!) and you can tell them what to put in. After you try your mix they will ask if you want to add some mezcal to your soup! Totally crazy!

Oh my, oh my!! What an experience. Folks, listen carefully. There is a reason this place is considered to have the best pozole in all Mexico. Do not come to Mexico City and not try this place. If you're a foodie like I am then this is your first stop. I plan to be back again before heading back home. And when they come by asking you if you want some mezcal in your pozole, the immediate answer is ABSOLUTELY YES!! Comprende.

What an incredible experience of food and friendly family like service. Get the pozole Verde and let the staff walk you through their version of this amazing food.
