★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The real Mayan cuisine. Great service about 15 dollars each couple includes a XX lager. Quite a drive but came after visiting the Mirador in Muna. Drove through Ticul the shoe capital. About an hour from Merida. Nice Sunday drive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is living off tourism. I had a poor experience. Trumped up fake ambience. I had poc chuk, and well it was ok if you like dry dog meat. Great for inexperienced xpats. This is a chain, formulmatic Maya fantesy. Don't be fooled. Mani is like a Maya Disneyland.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is a good restaurant that you must visit if you are in Yucatán. It is about 1 hr and 10 minutes from Merida city, not very close but is worth it.
They have a lot of different plates that are representative of the Yucatecan Cuisine.
I attached a picture of a plate named Relleno Blanco.
I recommend the plate of Poc-Chuc, they bring you hand made tortillas and it is delicious. After eating you can walk in downtown and buy some hand crafts.
I do recommend this place.
