★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The drive to Ticul to eat at this traditional restaurant is definitely worth it. Try the Poc-chuc pork dish is absolutely delicious. As a starter, the panuchos were perfect. I woukd recommend the Lima water to accompany your meal. The service is friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most places were closed when we visited Tictul in March 2021, but we had great panuchos at El Principe Tutul, and great service. Just ask a tuc tuc to take you there as it's a kilometre out of centro. Cost is 15 pesos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately a bad experience. The food is not good. the service very demotivated. Apparently the guacamole was out, even though the salad contained avocado, tomato and onion. Strange. The kitchen probably didn't feel like preparing fresh guacamole at 5:30 p.m. The atmosphere in the restaurant and the light are very uncomfortable.

Food is good, services is good and will exceed your expectations. If you are not into Yucatán’s food, pass. Otherwise, this is your kind of place.
This restaurant is located in a very small town, yet the restaurant out-stand its host town.
Food is fresh, beer is cold and atmosphere is magnificent.
Give it Chance, you won’t regret.
