★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El Rincón de Los Pasteles has a prominent location in its neighborhood and reminds me that this is a city crazy for cake. Possibly I'm not completely correct, but it does seem that there are a lot of cake shops between, say, the train museum and El Parque Bicentenario.
My interest in this location rose the other day when Google told me there was a restaurant here, not a cake shop. Google was wrong, and it turns out that the restaurant it had in mind is on the 5th Privada, and I already knew about that place. Now nature and map are reconciled, the cakes on here at the corner, the huevos a la Mexicana are a few blocks away.
