El Salto Crag Ground(climber's campground) - La Ciénega de González

Un lugar divertido para escalar, conocer nuevas personas, dormir en casa de campaña, cocina comoda con utencilios, agua caliente, baños.

Muy buena ubicación, entre semana y los fines puedes dormir sin tanto ruido de fiesta y raicers. Aunque de vez en cuando se hacen reuniones o fiestas de la comunidad escaladora muy divertidas. Joel y Alex los encargados del camping son a toda madre y seguramente te darán una buena beta para tus proyectos.

Great installations and super friendly hosts. It has a great kitchen, fireplace, hot water, internet, movie projector and everything you need for a great stay.

Beautiful campground for rockclimbers at el salto

Great campground for climbers in el salto. Joe is a super nice, generous welcoming guy and has bolted lots of routes in the area so is a good person to help show you around! It's also across the street from La Palma, a sweet cave with a bunch of good routes. Quiet, a little ways from the main town with great views of the canyons beyond!

The finest camping, the fastest internet, and the cleanest bathrooms. This is Joel’s life. You’ve stayed with the rest now stay with the best! The best van life camping spot. Walk 30 seconds to steep cave climbing from your campsite.

El salto has some quality rock climbing, the area is very local and not a lot of campground options. This great little campground is going to become the go-to spot for climbers from around the world! The hosts, Joe and Alejandro are wonderful and super helpful. They will answer all your questions, help you arrange for drivers (if you didn’t rent a car), beta for climbing areas. They are also local developers as well! La Palma is a great morning shade spot for climbing and it’s literally across the street. Kitchen is stocked well enough, Living space even has a projector for movie nights! Bonus: camp kittens and dog are surprisingly cuddly and friendly.
