don't know if the hotel plans to continue operation after today December 9 2019, but if you stay here.
Know that you're on your own, as there were no fire extinguishers Anywhere, now the hotel is made of pure wood, so go figure...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there for the lunch last Sunday... first what got my attention is the place where El Santuario is located... view on the lake is amazing!!! Don't get me wrong, the food and the staff are great, but what you see out of the resort is simply amazing!!! This place deserves 5*. Btw you can use this small pools and the jacuzzi, even if you are not staying at the resort, but you have to pay extra around $300 pesos.

We are planning to have our wedding there and would recommend this place for anybody trying to escape life's hustle and bustle just to relax in a spiritual and care-free environment. Your whole sense of being will change when you are there, I promise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this place 13 years ago, it was amazing, the spa, the rooms, the attention. Today i still like it but it is not the same. They are expanding it, lots of construction noises, the spa is not where it used to be and the experience is really affected.
The quality of the food I believe it is better now

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Biggest hotel in Valle de Bravo with the most spectacular view. We paid almost 400 per night.
Good bed sheets and pillows. No A/C. If you have a pool in the room, cover it for night - it’s heated, so it gets warm quick.
Shower didn’t have enough of water power for me, so ladies with long hair be ready to spend 20+ min washing it.
Restaurant is okay. Nothing bad, but nothing special, basic. Wish to have more salt in the dishes.
Best service! Very good and helpful staff.
