★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ¿Recuerdas haber tenido móviles en el techo de tu cuarto? Es común que de niños en las cunas les pongan a los bebés es menos frecuente pero pasa tener alguno de planetas en la juventud. Es divertido ver colgar y moverse cualquier cosa en un espacio vacío. El móvil es un invento moderno de un artista. Su nombre es Alexander Calder. A este gringo le debemos estas cosas que nos entretienen.
Aparte de realizar móviles de todas formas tamaños y tipos, hizo esculturas, algunas monumentales como la que vemos en la explanada del Estadio Azteca. Es una estructura gigantesca. Yo podría viajar mucho tiempo a cualquier lugar para observar esta clase de cosas. Así sean las torres de Satélite el Caballito en Reforma o alguna de Ivonne Domenge en Angelópolis. Hoy visité esta escultura de Calder y me fascinó. Me pasé un buen rato tomando fotografías y descifrando su significado y la forma en que fue fundida y armada en este lugar.
