★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place to eat in Oaxaca. The owner really takes care of their guest. I highly recommend getting “El Taco Brown” you will be satisfied. It’s comes complete with hand made tortillas and delicious salsas.

There was a lot of local dishes.
My limited Spanish skills made it difficult to communicate with the staff. But they were helpful.
I would not recommend this place for coffee, unless you are after the local variant of coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to the Oaxaca location twice this week. Each time a different server, first a young guy and the second time a youngish woman. Both times, great service, no pressure, answered questions, both times, a great attitude, both times, a smile on their face and happy to have you there as a customer.
While their menu is extensive, I had different types and styles of tacos there. Each item ordered was well prepared, well presented, and absolutely delicious.
Just a few blocks from the Zocalo on 5 de Mayo, I would make the effort to enjoy a meal there and try the salsas. Thanks for the experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great little place in the heart of Oaxaca where friendly staff serve authentic (and very tasty) Mexican food at low prices. My wife and I tried the ¿No Que No?, the Gringas and the Quesadillas Zapotecas, and all were outstanding. Side note: They don't offer mezcal on the menu but if you ask for a shot, one will magically appear in front of you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small not so clean looking place and although it could use a dusting, a proper wash and tidy the food is Incredible, absolutely Delicious and Fresh. I loved that there were vegan and vegetarian options. My vegetarian tacos and vegetarian quesadilla, my green juice and all accompanying sauces were perfectly made and tasty. The customer service prompt and friendly. The decor quirky; loved the hanging monkeys ? but it could use a bit of lively/soothing background music instead of the TV.
