★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No idea why this place is rated so low! The tacos are delicious, the meat is cooked well and tastes fresh. I went here three or four times during my stay in Zicatela and the staff were so attentive and friendly even though I speak little Spanish. Big love for this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for lunch on the advice of some local friends. Best tacos in the area. (Make sure to try the barbacoa!) Salsas are fresh, of course, and the spicy one is extremely spicy and tasty. Great food, great prices and very friendly service. I’m definitely returning to sample more of the daily-changing menu!
PS-Don’t worry If your Spanish isn’t great, the host speaks English very well.
Update: Today I learned that there are two different operations here. My review is for the LUNCH hours, which end at 2pm. Different cooks come in at 5pm for dinner and I haven’t tried them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very good and cheap!! sopes and quesadillas are great! they’re super accommodating for vegans; i ordered a quesadilla with no cheese, beans and mushrooms and it was good. my partner ordered chorizo sopes and he loved them. their aguas (juices) and orange juice are very good.
