had a great stay here. the staff ROCK. Alejandro y Rosa are both super friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable. they’re taking extra precautions and limiting the people in the rooms because of covid so it was normally a 8 person room for only 4 of us. great rooftop space. good price. sweet staff. good hostel experience ?

(1) Boss Jose speaks English & is a very nice man. (2) Cozy hotel with lounge, kitchen, rooftop terrace. Well decorated. (3) Strong A/C in rooms. (4) Cheapest $8 dorm in Merida. (5) Good WiFi. Only downside is the 8 man dorm and single room #9 had weak shower pressure. 11 big blocks from Ado bus station.

This is a honest review, this hotel is a scam. All you see in these pictures is fake. Where should I even start? Mold, dirt, dust, dirty bed sheets, no breakfast included, no bike rental as mentionned, humidity and terrible smell in the room because the wall ends 30cm before the roof (if you are a couple, you will enjoy all the noises as well). Cold water, almost no pressure. The Wifi was really bad. No coffee before 8am and when I took a mug from the kitchen it was dirty. The kitchen smell really bad. When I complained, the boss said that I was lying and that I knew what it was like when I booked. No apologies, no refund, nothing. I regret not taking pictures, compared to what you see online its totally different. The good reviews are fake. This is a scam. Beware.

This hostel is a gem. Roderick and Sheryl are such friendly and helpful hosts. There is a rooftop deck to sun and relax with small bar and BBQ, although not always in use. This is definitely not a party spot, although the clientele do socialize on the deck and in the kitchen. Quiet, chill vibe. You can really rest.There is a very comfortable, quiet room dedicated as a business center, although you have to provide your own laptop, no printer. Comfortable, clean rooms, w daily service. The linens are always immaculate, apparently provided by a laundry service, as the sheets are clean, crisp, folded, and even have a very hint of starch. Bunk beds are comfortable, and also long for tall people. (I'm 6'2", plenty of stretch room.) Stayed in a private one night, mattress was very firm. Full service equipped, self-catered kitchen. All rooms have a private bath and shower w additional B's for common use. The hostel is located a 7 minute walk from the central historic district with every type of restaurant, cafe, and cantina to choose from, as well as retail stores, markets,etc. Small convenience store across the street, as well. The bus station is a 5-6 dollar Uber ride away, 10 minutes. Look no further.

Rooms are clean, staff are really friendly. It’s a very minimal space with a decent kitchen. Shared working space is only one desk though. Only issue is that my food which was labelled was stolen :( wasn’t ideal but can’t fault the facilities or the staff

Stayed for three nights in a dorm room. Hostel is very clean. I would add curtains around the beds and some more comfy lounge chairs on the roof top terrace. I booked this hostel after realizing the first hostel I booked did not allow you to bring your own beer inside. I would stay again.
