We purchased all our appliances for our new apartment from Hector at Tio Sam (Kitchen Aid Fridge & Stove Top, Samsung Washer & Dryer). We found Hector to be helpful, reliable and their prices were excellent. Delivery happened on the day specified when we placed the order. The delivery guys were incredible! Our apartment was not easy to get into as it was still very much under construction. After sale, Hector was a huge help over coming some installation issues. We had heard mixed reviews of Tio Sam but we are very happy with our experience. Just remember Hector is working with more than just you (probably dozens of people), it may take a little longer than you hoped for him to get back to you, but he will!

Hector! What a knowledgeable and helpful young man! Héctor knows everything about every product Tio Sam’s sells. Not only does he know his products, he explains how they operate, and is full of super important tips on keeping your new appliances in top order for years of use. I would recommend you seek out Héctor specifically on your next visit to Tio Sam’s! Did I mention Héctor’s attitude? He always has a smile on his face and is patient as a saint!

Nightmare experience. Tio Sam sold us a defective Mabe washer, and both Tio Sam's and the manufacturer refuse to honor the "1 year guarantee". We purchased the washer 2021-01-20, and the very first cycle we ran we noticed that the basket during the spin cycle was smashing into the side of the washer violently and making the noise akin to a jackhammer. We contacted Tio Sam and they sent the Mabe technician. The technician noted the defect, and would return a second time to "repair" the problem. Technician came a second time told us he repaired the problem and left. My maid, gardener, father, mother, and myself all ran cycles and noticed the defect persisted, we all took videos and sent them to both Tio Sam and Mabe. The technician came a third time and claimed that the jackhammer noise and violent shaking was "normal" and left. The combined washers that the maid and my family have used over the years must number in the dozens, and all of us agree this machine's spin cycle is not normal. At this point we simply want the washer to be replaced or exchanged for a different brand, but neither Tio Sam or Mabe will honor the guarantee. To add insult to injury the technician now says we must pay him to service the machine that is still under the guarantee. Please do yourselves a favor and just go to Costco/Sam's Club, where a guarantee is a guarantee, no questions asked, full refund.

Hector has been most helpful for us in selecting the best refrigerator for our needs. It has been a pleasure to work with him. We will come here again to work with him when we are ready to replace our microwave oven.

Very uninterested staff. I walked in wanting to buy a bbq. Girl at the desk didn’t bother getting up. I asked if the bbq’s in the front window were all they had. Yes. That’s it. I walked out without said bbq and bought one for probably double from another store.

We always purchase our appliances from El Tio Sam. This last time we had the pleasure of working with Hector - he was beyond patient with our order (I made a "couple" of changes along the way)... Always very accommodating and lovely. Thank you!

if you are a non-Mexican and you want to buy anything here good luck!. They only except PayPal and if you want a refund you have to wait until they can issue you a check. They are also non-responsive to any questions and they do not know their product. Their communication is terrible. I have been waiting on a refrigerator I ordered for over 45 days and they cannot even tell me the status. I requested a refund and I have to personally visit the store and get a check from them.
