El primer lugar de Guadalajara que conocí, y el primero al que espero volver. Salí con as libros de los que esperaba: me dolió el bolsillo, pero se me alegró el corazón. I entered aimlessly, and I lost myself in the lines and colors of Barragán (where does the wall end and the sky begin?). The first place in Guadalajara that I knew, and the first to which I hope to return. I came out with the books I expected: my pocket hurt, but my heart rejoiced.

Como arquitecto, visitar una de las primeras casas de Barragán es completamente llamativo, desde estar atento a cada detalle y como los espacios antes dispuestos a otros usos paulatinamente se transformaron para volverse el Colegio de Arquitectos que es hoy, y está secreta librería en plena Colonia Americana. Los títulos que ofrecen son bellísimos y difíciles de conseguir, incluso teniendo en el repertorio libros de carácter más local. La organización de los libros sobre los estantes casi te invita en automático a gusguear y buscar a ver que se encuentra. Una librería que volveré a visitar por el cariño que le tomé esa primera vez. A very nice and complete experience. As an architect, visiting one of the first houses in Barragán is completely striking, from being attentive to every detail and how the spaces previously arranged for other uses were gradually transformed to become the College of Architects that it is today, and this secret library in the heart of Colonia American. The titles they offer are beautiful and difficult to obtain, even with more local books in the repertoire. The organization of the books on the shelves almost automatically invites you to rummage and search to see what is found. A bookstore that I will visit again because of the affection I took for it that first time.
