My taste buds and my body are celebrating this adorable little cafe. Quality ingredients, yummy flavors, super friendly service in a cozy spot on a plaza. Great vibes.

In a word: refreshing. Tried both the Tacos Rajas and the Tacos Elela, followed by the vegan chocolate cake. All were delicious and all were made using locally sourced ingredients. I would also highly recommend their ginger kombucha and Agua de Jamaica. As an added bonus, you can enjoy scenic views of the nearby church while you eat.

Really great vegan gem in the middle of Valladolid. The staff was really nice and accommodating for foreigners. All the meals were really good, with a very nice balance in flavors. The price is on point for the quality, although a bit more expensive than your average restaurant. But it's very often the case for vegan restaurants, and it is worth it for the quality. They add a nice touch of sharing their mission statement (why a vegan restaurant in Valladolid). We add a very pleasant experience, and the leche de halva they highlight is worth the try!

Elela Organic Vegan restaurant has a cool hippie ambiance. Lovely place to enjoy a cup of coffee and try any of the interesting menu items. I didn't try the pancakes but as they were being made they smelled amazing.

I absolutely love this place. The whole menu is vegan amd organic and comes from their own plantation. They also serve their own honey, which would be the only non-vegan ingredient. Beautiful art on the walls and cozy places to sit. I had the Hibiscus flower taco’s and they were absolutely delicous. Nice deserts as well!

Oh my god I LOVE THIS PLACE! Amazing ethics, local, vegan, sustainable, mostly home made products. They even grow their own fruits and vegetables on their ranch. Great options for vegan, gluten-free & sugar free! And F*CKING DELICIOUS! I have been to many vegan & raw vegan places, none make such amazing and healthy dishes as here! Highly recommend the banana chocolate cake, the halva latte. Also the place is so artfully made and decorated, nice view on the little square.

A secret gem in Valladolid. This little café has a great vegan and vegetarian menu. It was a delight to find such veggie-filled dishes after having meat and cheese tacos everywhere. At first I was a bit hesitant, as the 'restaurant' I expected looked like a tiny brunch café. However, this place was perfect to sit down and have some dinner for 2 as well. Later, we even moved a table to let a family dine in - so don't be shy and try their vegan tacos! I enjoyed the tacos rajas a lot in taste and the tacos elela were filled with vegetables and goodness. The chocolate cake was not very sweet (healthy!) and still moist because of the cream-like filling. It was enjoyable (but I think there was a spice in it like cardamom that I'm not the biggest fan of in combination with chocolate -very personal preference though). If you are a peanut-butter fan, you should definitely check their horchata - it is like a refreshing peanut-butter drink. Lastly, the thing we ordered thrice: the ginger kombucha. It's probably from a local brand but nonetheless it is amazing! If you are into these things, DEFINITELY get one. All in all: Elela has just the sweetest most positive vibe. The food is from an organic farm or if there is missing something, they get it from neighbouring farms.. Amazing taste, wonderful service... healthy food...what more could you want? Oh wait, it's the great view of the square right outside.. with Elela you get it.

I tried a couple of different things there, and some were really tasty. Others were too spicy for me but maybe because I don't like black pepper and very strong spices in general. But well, it's Mexico ? I appreciate all the fresh ingredients they use to make meals. However, in my opinion, honey is not vegan as it's an animal product so the restaurant should not be labeled as vegan. Otherwise, it's misleading. The wall paintings in the restaurant are AMAZING, I couldn't stop staring at them. Location next to the San Bernardino ex convent is perfect, too.
