★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately, my expectations were not met. We paid for an overly priced menu for boiled vegetables. I wish my friends and I had a different experience. I know this place can do so much better. The potential and intentions are good but they need to focus more on the clients and providing a top service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You must have the smoked chicken if it is on the menu!! One of the best places in CDMX! Great for small parties. Call in advance and try to get the private dining room. Mezcal selection is next level. Analog music library! Food is divine… don’t make plans for after… you will eat and drink to your hearts desire.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is absolutely amazing. It is basically a house that you’re dining in. There are private rooms upstairs and an atmosphere of being in a really, really nice hotel. The outdoor bar is gorg and the food was fantastic. Definitely would recommend for a nice dinner with friends.

I enjoyed a lot my visit here. Got sited at the bar in front of the kitchen and really enjoyed the time.
Food was great, service too.
Kitchen staff seemed to be enjoying what they were doing and that’s always nice to see happening.
Very recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the absolute best time at Elly’s with our group of friends. We asked Elly herself to send the dishes she preferred and every single one was out of this world. The atmosphere is cozy but incredibly chic (like your very stylish friend’s living room) and we already have plans to return before the end of our travels.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a nice evening at Elly’s. Sure: pricing is at the level of what you find in other hip restaurants in other large cities (actually New York and San Francisco are much more expensive) but I thought that the dishes were overall very interesting. Maybe the crudités with salsa tonnata was not that inventive but the Moroccan filo chicken cake was absolutely delicious as were the artichoke salad and the chargrilled Brussels sprouts. Even more impressive were the cocktails. The rooms upstairs are nice but I prefer the bar, next to a tree! Our waiters spoke English, which was much appreciated. I wish other restaurants adopted the idea of a paper bag for masks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elly’s is amazing. Had leek, sweet potato, artichoke & cauliflower — all were bursting with flavour and mixed with interesting texture.
Kudos for having a fernet cocktail (which had so much refined complexity). We walked in at 7pm and dined at the bar and enjoyed it.
When we peered in to give ourselves a quick tour of the beautiful venue, the staffs actually took us around and gave a quick tour — very kind & obviously appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place on an awesome street. The wait staff is super helpful and attentive. The chicken wings are some of the best I’ve ever had. And live the pink stone all over this place. For dessert and drinks they invite you upstairs to have dessert and drinks and to relax. So happy we came here.
