★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an incredible - awe inspiring place - the landscape, nature and light *but* it really needs to be looked after better. There is so much plastic waste in the water it is heartbreaking to see. Please protect your nature and animals, it will only help tourism too ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a beautiful tour, however there are some downsides: Boats don’t leave on time and wait for more people to come. The tour guide only speaks Spanish. And there are so many street vendors constantly trying to sell you something, even when you day no many many times.

You have many things to do locally starting for discover the local food at the market or all the restaurants located next to the deck where you can also take a boat for a long tour visiting g the main dams of the Grijalva River and the stunning landscapes of the canyon (I owe you the pictures, I was enjoying very much the view).

Still, very very well worth the sights, you re not going to find these sights in many places around the world!

Very friendly people! If you buy drinks they will lend you the cooler.
You need to take a sombrero, if there is sun it could get hard.
Beautiful place and guides are generally awesome (mine was).
Group boats are fun, private are very expensive ($4300 pesos at time of post)
I could see several things going wrong.
Great experience overall!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful scenery in early April but I believe it might be better in rainy season. Saw very few animals. On the plus side I didn't see any of the plastic thrash other people complained about. Got a van ride from my hotel to make the 2 pm tour which was to be the last but they seem to run later than that. We did about 90 minute boat ride to the end where we had an opportunity to buy drinks and snacks. Boat captain asked for tips and then a 30 min boat ride back to the beginning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A few restaurants, 40 minute long wait, and a huge negative, one boat driver left his engine running, so while waiting we all inhaled fuel fumes. It was so bad even the driver had to get out of the smoke.
Don't believe the touts, they lie. 10 minutes wait from a tout "quickly quickly" is forty minutes wait. Go to a counter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful experience we found the trip on our own and it has a set price when you arrive per person you can bring drinks and food they also sell some before you leave the views felt like a dream it is about 2 hours long they don’t stop but to take photos of different areas
