I don't understand Emily's magic, but I'm grateful to receive it. I saw that someone recommended her in a FB group I am in, and I decided to check out her website. I enjoyed reading about all the services that she offers. I opted to schedule a massage and feel out her vibe before diving into her 7 week program. Emily's place is neat, clean, beautiful, and welcoming. I felt at-ease with her right away. She asked a series of questions and examined the areas I suspected were causing my posture issues. She was great about getting consent before looking or touching and explained what she was doing and checked in to make sure I felt ok. Almost immediately after Emily began, I had memories surface and intense emotions bubbled up that felt ripe to be cleared. She invited me to express what was coming up in whatever ways felt right. I cried and had a big release. Emily continued working on my body and supporting me emotionally as she went. When I walked out of her home, I felt SO CLEAR!!! It was like all the responsibility, expectations, overwhelm, bitterness, and hurt I'd experienced over my 39 years of life had been stored inside my neck, shoulders and back - and now it's gone! I am enjoying just walking around, feeling free! I have had so many massages in my life! Nothing compares to what I experienced today. Emily massaged my SOUL! Just to be clear - it can be painful at times, but just breathe into it and let her help you through it. You will be so glad you did!

This was my first massage therapy experience, previously only indulging in relaxation-style massages. I had no idea how revolutionary this experience would be! I have felt profound effects ever since my initial session and it was mind-blowing to feel trigger point sensations and connections in my body that I had never experienced. Cannot recommend Emily Schwarze enough!

Emily is has a bunch of techniques that include client motion to reduce tension, which really addresses a lot. I will be coming back for more healing and treatment. She cares greatly for her work and client's well being. Highly recommended!

Cannot recommend Emily enough! She has such a calm and warm energy about her, and her passion and knowledge for what she does really shines through. My session with her was spectacular, working through some back pain that I had almost accepted as my new normal, and coming to the realization that that is far from the case. If I weren’t traveling out of Playa so soon, I’d book her again in a heartbeat.

I have worked with several massage therapists over the years and know when someone is the real deal. Emily is it! She is highly trained and has a strong array of tools to draw from. I was on vacation in Cancun and escaped the resort to have a massage with her and am so glad I did! I was so sore from travel stress and a bad hotel bed and she provided deep relief. On top of that she is a kind and lovely person and practitioner. Thank you!

As a fitness coach.. I've done A TON of massages.. Emily is BY FAR the BEST masseuse I have ever gone to. Im not just saying this to be nice.. I can't even describe it... she made me SO relaxed.. (I never relax... even during a massage). And worked on every single sore muscle that I had. I cannot wait to go back. I felt like I was on cloud nine.. on a whole other planet. A peaceful one. Worth every penny!! Its the most I ever paid for a massage but Emily had so many 5 star ratings and we said HECK we're on vacation lets go for it!! Great decision! Beat massage i ever had. Emily asked questions and addressed a 2 year old shoulder injury! Amazing skills. Thanks Emily!

Emily is a hidden gem in Playa Del Carmen! She has the hands of a powerful goddess that digs in deep to your problem areas and releases tension. I wish I found her sooner during my stay but was able to get 3 bodywork sessions in. I would fly back here to get body work from her. Now she’s more than a massage therapist, she’s a wealth of health/body knowledge and uses a unique pressure point therapy to help release the tension within the body. You can also get a regular massage since she will customize to your requests or let her do her thing and target the areas she identifies needs the most attention. She was able to release my tight wound up neck and shoulders that normally take seeing 2-3 different people and modalities to get to what she did. LOVE LOVE LOVE her hands, spirit, and warmth.
