After trying every option that Carmen offers on their evening menu, I can say the Memelas and Empanadas de Amarillo have excellent taste. If you want a vegetarian option, she offers tasty Flor de Calabaza and Champiñon Empanadas as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really tasty “empanadas” with home made corn tortillas. The one with amarillo, hoja santa, and chicken is a must! Friendly and fast service (to go). Good prices (35 mxn each).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Empanadas were amazing. A true treat. I was there in April 2021. There was no line; just simple, good deliciousness. (Note: of the four places featured on the Netflix show, only two are open as of April 2021. Also note that the the building (behind the stand) was painted since the Netflix show; in the show, the building was blue; now it's yellow. See photos attached.

For those that are curious, THIS is the place that was featured on Netflix. Tacos del Carmen, it's not the same place, just has a similar name/location!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So fresh, so delicious, and so glad I came here! Had pretty much everything on the food menu including two quesadillas con flor de calabazas. They have three types of salsa (spicy, medium, and a mild tomato - all fantastic). My favorite was the picante.
