An extraordinarily experience you will receive from Dr. A and his staff. From pick up to drop off you’re treated like family. Not only was I nervous traveling alone to Mexico, but getting major surgery was heavily on my mind. However after the meet and greet with Dr. A all my worries seemed to disappear! The fact that Dr.A took time out of his busy schedule to call my son, so he won’t worry, won me over! Dr. A and staff go above and beyond to assure you get everything you need and feel safe. I highly recommend Dr. A, he’s the best!

From contacting Brandi for information - booking my appointment - transportation to Mexico - arriving at the hospital - to meeting DR A and his fantastic team - to surgery, the experience was first class. This review is over 6 months late. I had my surgery with Dr. A on July 19, 2021. My patient care coordinator was Rosie and she was amazing! Her communication was unmatched. Whenever I had a question whether big or small, she was quick to answer. I traveled to San Antonio and Mexico alone and felt extremely safe! The facility was beautiful and spotless. Dr. A treated me and my fellow sleevers so well. He truly changed my life and gave me back my confidence!! I’m 6 months out, and 98lbs down. My highest weight was 310 and I’m currently 212, 5’8. My goal weight is 195-200?? Thank you so much Dr. A!!!!

One Word: Excellence! From the pickup at the hotel to the discharge day, everything was beyond amazing. Facilities: Most clean hospital I've ever been in my life. Top notch building and 100% safe. Staff: Everyone is really friendly and you feel they're taking care of you. Special shout out to Roman, Michelle, Jesus and Edgar for being so attentive to every detail. Even my companion had a great time, Dr.A and staff made sure companions feel part of the EndoFamily too. Surgery: Went really smooth and everything you experience is expected, as Dr. A shares in his book. If you stick to the guidelines, you'll be feeling fantastic soon after surgery. If you are researching for a facility for bariatric surgery look no further. The Endobariatric team is out of this world! From my first inquiry all the way to post op I was in the best hands. I arrived in San Antonio and took their shuttle into Piedras Negras. Our driver Tony was great and got us there quickly and safely. Upon arriving at Endobariatrics you can’t help but notice the beautiful facility. You’re immediately greeted by their friendly bilingual staff. The building is immaculate and beautifully modern. The rooms are huge and comfy. You then meet with the amazing Dr. Alvarez! He is thorough and thoughtful about all his patients and immediately calms your nerves about any questions or concerns you may have. It’s obvious that he cares and wants nothing but success for all his patients. Surgery Day! You’re taking up to preop and the friendliest nurses greet you and get you squared away with blood work, ekg, etc. Sidenote: They’ve got some great singing voices and were jamming some Whitney which calmed my nerves. You meet your anesthesiologist and other members of the surgery team and the next thing you know you’re in recovery. Dr. Alvarez limits the amount of surgeries performed each day to assure he has a well rested team and can take great care of each individual patient. The team checks on you constantly during your recovery and assures that you’re at peak comfort level. The next day! I felt amazing. A little sore. Minimum gas pains. Was able to walk around with no issue. We were then given the option to go into town and do a little looking around and shopping. Our concierge took us to Endospa where you can take part in discounted spa services. Grade A team there as well. I suggest going for the hydro facial. Afterwards we were taken to a cute restaurant where we had our first post op slush. We then went into downtown and did some shopping. Market area was completely safe and the people were friendly. Back at the hospital you’re taken to your new room to continue recovery and encouraged to sleep and relax. They’ll go over after care, all the medication, and give you links and follow up emails to their expansive support network. Going home! The staff checks in on you and helps you get packed up and ready to go. Dr. Alvarez meets with you before you leave with words of encouragement and support. Then it’s back to San Antonio and on to the best journey of your new life. Go with Endobariatrics they are simply the best.

My name is Kasey Parrott (my kids assigned the dog as my pic ?‍♀️ how to change). Anyways- Dr A is Fantastic! His facility is better than any hospital in the US. It is clean, modern, and you feel comfortable. His staff is amazing as well, answering any questions or concerns right away. As for the surgery itself- perfect! I was terrified and have a host of health problems such as heart failure to begin with. But they all took such good care of me! Dr A comes around after surgery several times to check on you personally as well. That kind of service and treatment is unheard of in Indiana where I live. Definitely go here if you are looking into the gastric sleeve!

Dr. A and his entire team and staff are incredibly talented and friendly. They are always available for any questions or concerns. They made sure I was always confortable. The surgery went great and am now 3 days post op. The hospital facility is top notch and very modern and clean. The suite you arrive at the night before felt like a small resort. The entire facility is very clean and you can find several services available for your stay. I would highly recommend Endobariatric to anyone in search of a safe gastric sleeve procedure.
