Enterprise Rent-A-Car - 29060 Tuxtla Gutiérrez

I rented a car online from enterprise to pick up here, and when I arrived I was informed that they weren’t there. I arrived at around 3:00 to pick up my car at 4 so I decided to wait. Little did I know I would be waiting until 4:45 before anyone even arrived to the office. When he got there it took another 15 minutes to find my reservation and it turned out I had an issue with my license and we were told to cancel the reservation and that “we wouldn’t be charged anything”. I attempted to cancel through the online portal and I was unable to, so the worker made a call to cancel it and I was told I would be receiving an email. (pro tip, stay there until they refund you) when I finally received the email it is stating that I will only be receiving 80% of my refund and I have to fill out a form and wait 15-25 days for the refund approval. This is an absolute slap in the face and a scam from this company. We lost a day of travel because we waited so long that we couldn’t find another way to get where we were going, and we will be paying more than $50 for the disgraceful service received, the blatant lies we were told, and the day of travel lost. I will be calling enterprise and letting them know that their office in the hotel fiesta is a scam. Moral of the story, don’t trust people, and don’t book ahead of time because what you save will be stolen from you. Absolutely asinine service from a large company. I suggest you go elsewhere.
