Too bad they didn't let me go to the waterfalls above the pits, maybe they wanted to get into my car and charge me for a guide... I told them I was paying for a guide but I didn't want a guide, let alone get on it... I chose not to stay... no It's the first time I've been there, Felix was very abusive, who perhaps wanted to get into my car

En la entrada te cobraran $200 por persona ó$500 si quieres algo más privado es decir , para entrar y pagar 200 por cabeza , será necesario que juntes un grupo de 5 (con tu misma gente o con gente que vaya llegando) de lo contrario , si quieres ir solamente con el guía y tu pareja ,tendrás que pagar $500... sin embargo ,lo vale .
El recorrido está increible ,los guías son super amables y platicadores .
Al final del trayecto podrás nadar un rato y disfrutar del agua cristalina del lugar .
Cuidado con la gente que tiene problemas en las rodillas ó algún tipo de fobia a las alturas , por que hay descensos de escaleras muy empinados.

The place is beautiful. The tour is incredible, the guides are super friendly and talkative.
At the end of the journey you can swim for a while and enjoy the crystal clear water of the place.
Beware of people who have knee problems or some kind of phobia of heights, because there are very steep descents of stairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es un lugar impresionante! ya que tienes que bajar caminado como 1 o 2 km y hay unas escaleras mucho muy pronunciadas,solo llevate dinero o una botella de agua, no necesitas ni toalla por que de la caminata te secas no necesitas más evita cargar algo que no necesitarás.
It is an awesome place! Since you have to walk down about 1 or 2 km and there are some very steep stairs, just take money or a bottle of water, you don't need a towel because you dry out from the walk, you don't need more, avoid carrying something you won't need.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're an adrenaline junkie and you like to dive into water this place is insanely beautiful and perfect for it. The only downside is that there are a lot of steps down and climbing it back up is a workout. Amazing experience though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best way to see the Tamul waterfall. Instead of rowing upstream with a big group of people, we decided to drive a short way up the road to El Naranjito, the local community that cares for the falls. You reach a kiosk and pay the guides directly (this helps them care for the place) for a group of 2-5 people and they either ride in your car or you can pay a little extra so they’ll give you a ride. We paid for the ride to protect our rental car and it was perfect. It’s a short walk to the falls and you can swim as long as you want. 100% worth it and would do it many times again.
