Love this place. Bought 2 sets.

The real handcrafted equipales in the heart of equipales region. This is the fourth generation of the Sevilla family of equipaleros. We could see the whole process of this traditional furniture fabrication. A 1 and 20 minute drive from Ajihic or Guadalajara. Worthwhile if serious about buying. Knowleadgeble and courteous service.

After looking at a couple of other providers in the Zacoalco area, we went to Equipales IMPERIAL because I had seen their website and had an idea of what they offered. We were met by Max, who showed us various styles and explained the different tiers of quality - and cost - offered. After trying many different chairs to test for comfort (every person is different!) we decided on the envarillado asientos, a table, and two bancos. We ended up not having enough cash for our choices, so Max very helpfully agreed to meet us at the bank in el centro WITH our chairs, etc. to save us some travel time and inconvenience. Our new chairs and table look beautiful on our balcony and we can hardly wait to sit and enjoy the view of Lago de Chapala over breakfast in comfort and style!

Absolutely fantastic furniture, service and prices! We love our equipale chairs and table. We is the singular aqua party think of “Imperial” each morning as we have coffee overlooking Lake Chalapa with the rich smell of new, master crafted, furniture.
