From the moment Erin walked through the door we felt at ease. She was personable and engaging and we immediately hit it off. Erin had an acute sense of place. All her choices for backgrounds turned out to be the best choices. She was equally adept at both unobtrusive candid shots and group shots that require subtle bride-groom-family wrangling throughout the day. Her background as a photojournalist makes her uniquely qualified to deliver images of your wedding that will continue to resonate long after the event. That sounds a little stuffy. What I’m trying to say is, her photographs are fun to look at. Erin is easy to work with and fun to be around and the photographs speak for themselves.

Working with Erin was a truly exceptional experience! Being out of state let alone different countries, Erin's expertise and communication style allowed us to feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire process. From our initial conversation on the phone, we knew Erin was intuitive and an expert at understanding her clients. Diving into who we are as a couple, she adapted shots and energy to best convey us at our best. Looking back at our wedding photos, Erin was able to capture our most memorable day of our lives' as well as family and friends all while accurately conveying personalties and the depth of everyone's emotions. Erin was our wedding photographer for our May 2018 wedding in Sayulita and she was nothing short of amazing. We would hire her 10 times over and I highly recommend her. She's professional, easy to talk to and just seemed to get us. Not only is she able to command a room - directing 30+ family members to simultaneously look at the camera (including tiny humans), she's a nimble ninja in her way of seemingly being everywhere all at once to capture every moment of our big day. She was also extremely helpful in talking through which posed photos were 'must haves' and which we didn't need, to give us more time back to enjoy our special day with friends and family. Further, she was a calming presence and even provided super helpful guidance to our wedding planner about where to have our ceremony, in hopes of having the perfect lighting for photos. I was drawn to Erin's candid, documentary style photos from the moment I saw them on Instagram. I wanted our day to be shown as real as possible, and it was. Smiles and tears and wardrobe malfunctions and sweet moments otherwise missed. Our very small wedding was so well captured that it's like we were at all places at once, and we get to see our own wedding through everyone's eyes. Most importantly for me, spending such a special day with someone like Erin was such a joy. My highlight of the day was actually us taking off with Erin in the golf cart, and having some alone time, plus Erin. She is so magnetic and fantastic that immediately she felt like part of our group, helping her blend in, make everyone comfortable, and capture the best moments. We are so happy to share our wedding story through Erin's photos.

Erin was amazing- the photos she took are so beautiful and honest. They truly captured the dynamic of my husband and I, our families, and our crazy friends. Erin Parker, where to begin?! Her photos speak for themselves but I’d like to share my experience with her because she’s just THAT great. We got married in Bucerias, MX May 2019 and Erin was perfect in every way. I found Erin before we even had a venue or date. We started exchanging emails and she was always quick to reply with thoughtful ideas and wedding planning guidance. I asked her 458398703 questions and she answered all of them beautifully! She was so patient and kind through my indecisiveness and ever-changing plans. When the day finally came she was everything we imagined and more. We met her the day before the wedding to hash out some details and instantly knew we made the right decision. She asked thoughtful questions and genuinely cared about capturing our day in the best way. She went above and beyond. The day of she arrived early and instantly made everyone feel relaxed. She captured the day exactly as we envisioned and all of our guests loved her. She knows how to corral a group of tipsy party-goers in line for fun, memorable photos. Erin captured our day even more perfect than I could possibly imagine. Every photo is spot on US, she has the crazy ability to easily find our personality and capture it in a moment. Our wedding photos are an exact representation of who we are and everything that we hoped for. We are horrible at posing and didn't want awkward "wedding" photos where we didn't look like ourselves. Erin captured our silly, fun and sweaty (it was really hot) selves the entire night and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Not to mention Erin is FUN and GENUINE. She's hilarious and makes every moment easy, even if you were uptight and awkward, she would find a way to break that immediately. Erin Parker Photography documentary style is the best for weddings; she captured all the love and joy that everyone was experiencing on our wedding day. Erin's documentary style captures all of the beautiful candid moments, which turned out to be the best photos we have. We were blown away by how many different vantage points of the ceremony she captured, all of the details she caught from the table setting to guests having secret moments together. Erin is so personable and friendly, she learned the names of our parents and everyone in the wedding party. Our guests loved her and are still commenting on how friendly she was and how she was in a million places at once without ever being in people's way (she was on the ground during the ceremony behind a chair so she's not in the way to get a picture looking up at us as we kissed, hiding behind the bartender to capture that moment where everyone is cheering before taking a shot of tequila, etc). Our guests were impressed with how many photos she took without being in the way of anyone or demanding peoples attention, that she didn't stopping the flow of things by requesting formal photos. We did a series of very large formal group photos with friends and family right after the ceremony, and Erin was great at helping us wrangle folks into these large group photos, she knew how to take control to minimize formal shots and maximize party time. As an extra bonus, Erin is easy to plan and work with. She quickly responds to emails and got us almost a dozen photos sneak peak photos just 4 days after our wedding, a preview gallery within 15 day of our wedding, and the full album just a month and one week after our wedding! She is timely, efficient, and fun to share your very special day with. Every time we look at her photos they bring us back to that day and make us smile, laugh, cry and relive every moment of our wedding. I have never seen such beautiful wedding photos as the one's Erin took for us. We hope that you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with her.
