ESCENA is an excellent school where the various opportunities they provide to the student community are very good. The good: Scene is incredible for people who want to try different branches of animation and discover which are their favorites. The Bad: Online classes are expensive considering the teachers aren't that good. For more serious people who already know their field, I recommend taking classes with Animum 3D.

I COULD NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE BASIC DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION COURSE. DURING THE FIRST CLASS I REALIZED THAT ALL THE STUDENTS WERE PROFESSIONAL ILLUSTRATORS OR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS OF THE SUBJECT AND I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO TURN ON THE EQUIPMENT. I REQUEST A REFUND IMMEDIATELY WITH THE MANAGER OF SCHOOL SERVICES, MRS. ÁNGELA, I ALSO SUGGESTED ME LEAVE THAT GROUP AND JOIN A MUCH MORE BASIC ONE. HOWEVER, HE DENIED THE POSSIBILITY OF REIMBURSEMENT AND OFFERED CLASSES WITH ADVISERS - EVEN THOUGH I COULD NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM DUE TO MY WORK SCHEDULES. IT WOULD BE QUITE CONVENIENT FOR THEM TO HAVE A PROPAEDEUTIC COURSE OR THAT THEY EVALUATE THE STUDENTS BEFORE THEY INVEST $7,000 PESOS FOR A COURSE THAT IS NOT BASIC. I'M AFRAID I'M GOING TO GO TO THE PROFECO TO REPORT THE SITUATION SO THAT THIS INSTITUTION MAY REIMBURSE MY INVESTMENT. THE DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE IS MISLEADING, I COULD NOT CONTINUE ATTENDING CLASSES BECAUSE I WAS NOT AT THE LEVEL OF THE OTHER STUDENTS, I FREQUENTLY INTERRUPTED AND THE EXPERIENCE WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING AND FRUSTRATING. To date, no one from the school has given me an answer to this complaint.

Still, I haven't finished the cinema 4d course, the truth is that it is helping me a lot to introduce myself to the world of 3d, I absolutely recommend it, I would also enroll in another Scene course (Matte Painting-Advanced). Professor Orlando Lopez (Champu-Chinito) is very well prepared and experienced. Totally recommended!

The school treats you as nothing more than a number. They have very little regard for students who work or live far away under the excuse that "it's a full-time school." As an art school they encourage you to crunch and they have no sports culture of any kind. The building is unpleasantly inaccessible and small.
