Nacimiento
Fue hasta el 17 de febrero de este año, que funcionando como centro alfabetizante, nuestra Institución comenzó a crear sus cimientos y contando solamente con un salón y siendo directora, la Profra. Guadalupe García Zárate. sus familiares donan a esta pequeña escuela el mobiliario de la Institución particular que él presidía: Politécnico. Por esta razón y por agradecimiento a tan noble gesto, la Profesora Guadalupe García Zárate y los colonos gestionaron ante las autoridades correspondientes, que la escuela llevara el nombre del Profesor Porfirio O. Morales, el cual conserva hasta la actualidad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El nivel educativo dentro de la secundaria y preparatoria es un muy deficiente, ya que cuenta con profesores muy poco capacitados para las materias, pocos cuentan con una gran vocación ,además de poca atención hacia las actividades curriculares del alumnado. Algo rescatable es el cuidado de la escuela por su gran personal de limpieza.
