★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pesar de llevar el nombre de un personaje tan controvertido y relacionado con ese México terrible de la Revolución y la Guerra Cristera, como lo fue Maximino Ávila Camacho. Es de resaltar que está escuela Primaria conforma parte del patrimonio histórico del bello y bonito pueblo de Huejotzingo. Ocupa una parte del solar del antiguo convento franciscano, y el arquitecto resolvió una fachada si bien ya de proporciones modernas. Pero que incluyera elementos como el de la entrada principal de esta escuela que simula el acceso del portal de Peregrinos del Convento. Eso nos da una clara muestra que hay que recorrer Huejotzingo pacientemente pues nos aguarda con muchas sorpresas.
