A inicio de 1990, levanté el censo escolar de la Escs. Prim. Federales: Emiliano Zapata T. M. y T. V., Enrique Lozano T. M. y T. V., y la Esc. Prim. Estatal: Miguel Hidalgo; ubicadas en las colonias al lado sur del río Sabinas. Con la ayuda del Profr. Carlos Chapa González, representante municipal, visitamos cada domicilio de los alumnos. El 02 de septiembre de 1990, fue el inicio de esta institución, en las aulas de la Escuela Primaria Miguel Hidalgo T.M., laborando en el turno vespertino, con 47 alumnos inscritos, formando dos grupos de primer grado. Fue hasta 02 de Sep. de1994, qué pasó a ocupar el edificio escolar donde hoy se ubica.
