★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gabriel Flores García (Guadalajara, Jalisco, 8 de febrero de 1930 - ibíd., 14 de diciembre de 1993) fue un pintor, dibujante y muralista mexicano. Sus restos descansan en la Rotonda de los Jaliscienses Ilustres de Guadalajara. Es el morador número 27 de la Rotonda y el vigésimo primero con estatua.
Se preocupó por forjar su personalidad artística al marcar significativas diferencias con los muralistas que lo antecedieron en cuanto a su estilo y técnica, y logra ser reconocido por su propia expresión. Se desarrolló y consolidó apoyándose en la perfección técnica, en la facilidad de dibujo y en la composición de los elementos en que basaba su pintura.
Hoy en día su obra está más vigente que nunca, porque en ella se anticipa el caos que las grandes urbes del país sufren hoy.

 Gabriel Flores García (Guadalajara, Jalisco, February 8, 1930 - ibid., December 14, 1993) was a Mexican painter, draftsman and muralist. His remains rest in the Rotunda of the Illustrious Jaliscienses of Guadalajara. He is the 27th resident of the Rotunda and the twenty-first with a statue.
He was concerned about forging his artistic personality by marking significant differences with the muralists who preceded him in terms of style and technique, and he manages to be recognized by his own expression. He developed and consolidated based on technical perfection, ease of drawing and the composition of the elements on which he based his painting.
Today his work is more current than ever, because it anticipates the chaos that the great cities of the country suffer today.
